OUR STORY

Bix Electrical is owned and operated by Matt and Laura. We are a Chesapeake couple with two kids that are both young adults now. Laura was a stay at home, homeschooling mother that raised our two kids into wonderful young adults that we are very proud of. In her spare time, she coached volleyball, helped at church and helped Matt with all sorts of projects around the house, working on our cars, landscaping, and many more things. Matt worked as a civilian electrician for the US Navy for 20yrs. During his time there, he held many titles: Apprentice, Journeyman Electrician, Master Electrician, Supervisor, Manager, and Engineering Technician. In June of 2021, they decided to start a new adventure, Thats when Bix Electrical was born. They realized the difficulty in finding trustworthy, qualified electricians, and wanted to use their talents to serve their community. Allow us to have the pleasure of serving you today.
